Russia Part 1

We decided to cross the Fontanka and walk up the very popular main street and central hub of St Petersburg, Nevsky Avenue (Nevsky Prospekt). It is named for Alexander Nevsky Lavra, the monastery at the eastern end of the street. This is certainly the place for shopping, sightseeing and dining.
